SHTP-IC PARTNERS WITH LONG TRUONG WARD: UNLOCKING THE POTENTIAL OF AI IN WORK DAILY
With the aim of enhancing digital capabilities and promoting the practical application of technology, on September 26, 2026, the People’s Committee of Long Truong ward, in collaboration with the Saigon Hi-Tech Park Incubation Center (SHTP-IC), organized a training program on Artificial Intelligence (AI) application skills for civil servants and public employees of the ward, neighborhood-level personnel, and members of the Community Digital Technology Teams.
As AI is increasingly becoming a useful tool for supporting everyday work, equipping grassroots-level personnel with the skills to effectively and appropriately use AI is an important and practical priority. The training program not only introduced AI tools but also aimed to help participants gradually develop practical approaches to applying AI based on their specific needs and actual work requirements.

Applying AI to Real-World Tasks
With content tailored to practical needs at the grassroots level, the program provided participants with fundamental knowledge and skills to make practical and appropriate use of AI in their respective tasks.
Under the guidance of experienced and knowledgeable trainers, participants explored practical applications of AI in searching, compiling, and reviewing documents and records; supporting the drafting of official correspondence and plans; as well as quickly consolidating reports and analyzing data.
The program also provided guidance on developing effective prompts, reviewing and evaluating information generated by AI, and recognizing the limitations of AI tools. Through these activities, participants can make informed decisions about how to use AI appropriately, helping them handle tasks more efficiently and effectively.

Using AI Safely and Responsibly
Information security and responsible AI use were among the key focuses of the program. Participants were guided on how to identify and control types of information that should not be entered into AI tools, particularly confidential information of state agencies, internal information, and personal data.
Equipping participants with these principles contributes to greater awareness of data security and enables grassroots-level personnel to use AI tools more proactively while minimizing potential risks that may arise in the course of performing their duties.

Bringing Technology Closer to the Community
Through this program, SHTP-IC continues to support local authorities in promoting digital skills, encouraging the practical application of technology, and enhancing the capacity to use AI in everyday work.
