EMBRACE TECHNOLOGY – SHAPE THE FUTURE WITH SHTP-IC AT THE 2026 DIGITAL CITIZEN DAY IN BINH PHU WARD

On June 27, 2026, the 2026 Digital Citizen Day, themed “Digitizing Communities – Connecting the Future,” officially took place under the organization of Binh Phu Ward People’s Committee. As a partner of the event, the Saigon Hi-Tech Park Incubation Center (SHTP-IC) brought a series of interactive technology spaces, giving local residents the opportunity to explore, engage with, and gain hands-on experience with innovative solutions being applied in education, work, and daily life.

📍 EXPERIENCE ZONE: Discover the “Science & Technology Stations”

🏛️ Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space (VR/AR Technology): Participants had the opportunity to put on virtual reality headsets and interact with historical documents, images, and artifacts related to Ho Chi Minh in an immersive and engaging way.

🤖 Showcase of Innovative Technology Solutions: Participants had the opportunity to discover and explore a range of cutting-edge technologies, including 3D printers, laser engraving machines, electronic microchips, advanced drones/UAVs, and robotics.

🛸 Science & Technology Station and Drone Soccer: This was one of the most popular areas for young participants passionate about STEM. Here, they had the chance to directly control robots in head-to-head matches on a competition arena, while also experiencing Drone Soccer — an exciting sport that combines technology, strategy, and drone piloting skills.

📍 SKILLS ZONE: Learning to Apply AI and Create Digital Content

💡 AI Tips and Practical Photography & Videography Skills: Participants joined a hands-on session on applying AI to learning, work, and everyday life. The session also equipped them with essential skills in information security, identifying online scams, and creating digital content, while providing practical guidance on photography and videography from experienced instructors.

✴️ Through this series of activities, SHTP-IC aims to bring technology closer to the community, enabling everyone – especially young people, not only to explore and apply emerging technologies firsthand, but also to foster creative thinking, inspire a passion for learning, and promote a culture of innovation in daily life.
