SHTP-IC AND SLEI BRING DEEP TECH VIET NAM TO SWITCH 2026 – SINGAPORE
On October 27, 2026, SWITCH 2026 (Singapore Week of Innovation and Technology) officially opened at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore. Organized by Enterprise Singapore, the event brings together investors, multinational corporations, and deep tech companies from around the world.
For the first time, the Saigon Hi-Tech Park Incubation Center (SHTP-IC), together with Silver Lion Enterprise Impact (SLEI), a global partner of SWITCH, has brought a deep tech startup incubated at Saigon Hi-Tech Park (SHTP) to the international stage, showcasing Vietnamese innovation at the Vietnam Deep Tech Hub – Booth M07.
Representing Vietnam is Bacte – Sovereign BioTech, a biotechnology company holding Patent No. 4037. The company has developed a biological solution using locally sourced Vietnamese materials, including Tra My cinnamon bark and Ca Mau shrimp shells, capable of eliminating over 90% of nematodes within just 90 minutes.
For SHTP-IC, SWITCH marks a concrete step toward accelerating the global expansion of its incubated startups. The incubation journey is evolving beyond supporting domestic research and commercialization to facilitating direct connections with international investors, industry partners, and global markets. SHTP-IC aims to further scale this model, enabling more incubated startups – particularly deep tech companies with proprietary technologies and intellectual property, to confidently enter and compete in global markets.
