SHTP-IC: A BRIDGE CONNECTING TECHNOLOGICAL KNOWLEDGE AND INNOVATION

A study visit to the Saigon Hi-Tech Park Incubation Center offered lecturers and students majoring in Control and Automation Engineering Technology at the Vietnam Aviation Academy a firsthand perspective on this journey. The visit provided an opportunity to experience a technology-driven environment, learn about business operations, and connect specialized knowledge with real-world applications.

The journey from acquiring knowledge in the classroom to conducting research, developing products, and applying technology in businesses requires a combination of technical expertise, creative thinking, and the ability to solve real-world problems. To strengthen the connection between academic training and practical technology applications, the study visit to SHTP-IC provided lecturers and students from the Vietnam Aviation Academy with an opportunity to gain firsthand insights into research and development (R&D), product development, and the high-tech ecosystem.

Exploring the Startup and Innovation Ecosystem

During the program, representatives of the Saigon Hi-Tech Park Incubation Center introduced the center’s functions and responsibilities, along with its activities in supporting startups, incubating businesses, and promoting the development of technological solutions. Through this introduction, students gained further insights into the journey of transforming an idea into a viable product, from initial research and development to product completion and gradual entry into the market.

Exploring Technology Through a Business Perspective

Continuing the program, representatives of Gremsy Joint Stock Company shared insights into the research, development, and practical applications of technological solutions. Their presentation helped students gain a clearer understanding of how specialized knowledge can be transformed into products and solutions that meet market needs. The discussion became increasingly engaging as students raised questions and exchanged ideas on technical topics and technology applications. This was also an opportunity for them to connect their academic knowledge with real-world challenges, broaden their perspectives, and foster a proactive spirit of technological exploration.

Experiencing a Real-World Technology Environment

A highlight of the program was the visit to the modern Showroom and Maker Innovation Space. At the place, lecturers and students had the opportunity to observe a real-world research and development (R&D) environment, where technological ideas are tested and developed. The experience helped inspire their passion for research, encourage creativity, and provide career orientation in the high-tech sector.

For SHTP-IC, every engagement with educational institutions is an opportunity to share knowledge, promote a spirit of innovation, and strengthen the connection between education and practical experience. These initiatives help create opportunities for young people to access the high-tech ecosystem, develop their professional capabilities, and turn creative ideas into reality in the future.
