SHTP-IC accompanies IU Startup Demo Day 2021

Connecting with domestic universities to enhance entrepreneurship and innovation among young people has always been one of the priority activities of the Saigon Hi-Tech Park Incubation Center (SHTP-IC). Typically, in the past 2 months (from March to May 2021), SHTP-IC has accompanied the startup contest “IU Startup Demo Day 2021” organized by the Center for Innovation, Innovation and Technology Transfer – International University – Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City organized.

The contest is organized to find potential start-up projects, from which the projects will receive support from the university and companions in the development of products and ideas. Not only that, but students participating in the contest also have the opportunity to exchange knowledge and experience in entrepreneurship and innovation, attend training courses, in-depth training, and expand their opportunities association grows when being nominated to participate in larger-scale competitions.

SHTP-IC accompanies the contest as a Jury for important rounds: Preliminary Round on April 20, 2021, and Final Round on May 16, 2021. The contest “IU Startup Demo Day 2021” went well and selected the best projects, which were all developed from scientific and technological research activities and can be applied well in life. These are “Pepper Revolution” – Research on value-added production from pepper, “Ella” – Makeup Tutorial application, “Eco-Friendly Inhibitor” – Research on plant-based corrosion inhibitors.
