Selex Motors successfully appealed for funds of $ 2.1 million
Selex Motors Joint Stock Company, a start-up company in the field of designing and manufacturing electric motorcycles, batteries and battery replacement stations, has just successfully appealed for funds of $2.1 million in the Pre-Seed round. Led by Touchstone Partners, this funding round also included investors such as ADB Ventures – the venture capital fund of the Asian Development Bank and Nextrans – one of the most active Korean venture capital funds the best in Vietnam.

According to Selex, the capital received in this investment round will be used to expand research and development (R&D) activities, expand production scale at a new factory in the Hanoi area and start bringing products to official operation with the first corporate customers.
Currently, Selex is cooperating with Viettel Post – the leading shipping unit in Vietnam with thousands of transaction points nationwide and Lazada Logistics – the logistics branch of the “big” e-commerce Lazada in order to “electrification” the delivery fleet and set up battery exchange stations across the country.
