Developing international cooperation relationships in High Science – Technology field

On April 13-14, 2022, the Moscow City Delegation (Mr. Viacheslav MANUYLOV, Deputy Director of the Department of Foreign Economic Affairs and International Relations of Moscow City – Head of the Delegation) and the Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Ho Chi Minh City. (Timur SADYKOV, Consul General) and the US Congress Delegation (Mrs. Katie Sutton – US Senator – Head of Delegation) and the US Embassy, US Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City arrived. visit, learn about the potential of Saigon High-Tech Park (SHTP) and seek prospects for cooperation in the development of science and technology, promote diplomatic relations between the parties, focus on digital economic issues and protect the information in today’s digital environment.

Saigon Hi-Tech Park Incubation Center (SHTP-IC) had the opportunity to receive delegations to visit Maker Innovation Space (MIS) – an innovation space for startups, lecturers and students to access and use the equipment for developing ideas, perfecting products with breakthrough technology.

MIS is one of three patent spaces in Vietnam under the Project of Building University and Business Alliance through creative and technology innovation activities (BUILD-IT), organized by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) funded and coordinated with Arizona State University (ASU).

Although the meeting at MIS was short, it also left many impressions, it is especially expected to create many development opportunities and more effectively exploit the functions of MIS in supporting the innovation startup community in Ho Chi Minh City and across the country according to international standards.
