Accompany IU Startup Demo Day 2021

Connecting with domestic universities to enhance entrepreneurship and innovation spirit among young people has always been one of the priority activities of Saigon Hi-Tech Park Incubation Center (SHTP-IC). Specificially, in the past 2 months (from March to May 2021), SHTP-IC accompanied the startup contest “IU Startup Demo Day 2021” organized by Center of Innovation and Technology Transfer – International University – Ho Chi Minh Vietnam National University.

The contest is organized to find potential startup projects, from which the projects will receive the support from the university and sponsors in developing products and ideas. Not only students participating in the contest also have opportuinites to exchange knowledge and experience in entrepreneurship and innovation, attend training courses, in-depth training and expand their opportunities to participate in the contest with larger scale.

SHTP-IC accompanied the contest as Judges for important rounds: Preliminary Round on April 20^th, 2021. The “IU Startup Demo Day 2021” contest took place very well and selected best projects, which were all developed from scientific and technological research activities can be applied well in life. These are “Pepper Revolution” – Research on value-added production from pepper, “Ella” – Makeup Tutorial Application, “Eco-Friendly” – Research on corrosion inhibitor from plants.
